Brooklyn Man Charged with Slashing Teen on D-Train

NYPD Release Bodycam Video of Police-Involved Shooting in 40th Precinct

Man Seen Walking Against Traffic on Major Deegan Expressway Dies in Hit & Run Incident

On Saturday, March 27, at approximately 9.12 p.m., police responded to a call regarding a man who was seen walking southbound on the northbound side of the Major Deegan Expressway in the vicinity of Exit 12 in the 50th precinct.   Upon arrival, police determined that the man of unknown age had been walking northbound in the southbound lanes of the Major Deegan Expressway between Exit 11 and Exit 12 in the vicinity of Van Cortlandt Park when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. Norwood: One Man Stabbed and One Woman Shot at Lexa Bar at 204th Street

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual wanted in connection to an assault that occurred in the 52nd precinct.   On Saturday, March 27, at approximately 2.29 a.m., the suspect approached a 38-year-old male victim as he stood in the door of Lexa Bar, located at 357 East 204th Street in the Norwood section of the Bronx. NYPD Detective Arrested in 52nd Precinct for Sexual Abuse of Child

On Thursday March 25, 2021, at approximately 11 a.m., Franco Johnson, a 42-year-old, off-duty, NYPD detective, was arrested and charged in the 52nd precinct with six counts of sexual abuse, two counts of “course of sexual conduct against a child” and two counts of acting in a manner injurious to a child.   According to the NYPD Online system which now tracks police misconduct records, there are no complaints on file for Johnson.
