The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the two people seen in the attached photo who are sought for questioning in connection to the fatal shooting in the Belmont section of The Bronx of Miguel Vargas, 22, of Tiebout Avenue in Fordham Heights, as reported. A 22-year-old man from Fordham Heights died after he was fatally shot in the Belmont section of The Bronx, according to the NYPD. Police said that on Monday, Feb. 13, at around 6.57 p.m., officers from the 48th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot inside 689 East 187th Street. An NYPD spokesperson said, “Upon arrival, officers observed a 22-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. A 23-year-old man and a 25-year-old man were stabbed and brought to a local area hospital following an incident on Valentine’s Day in the Bedford Park section of The Bronx, coincidentally in the vicinity of Valentine Avenue. Police said that on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at approximately 3.40 p.m., police [from the 52nd Precinct] responded to a 911 call regarding shots fired at 239 East 203rd Street, which intersects with Valentine Avenue. The NYPD is asking for the public’s help locating the people seen in the attached video and photos who are sought for questioning in connection to an ongoing murder investigation into the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old man in Mt. Hope. As reported, police said that on Wednesday, Feb. 15, at around 5.21 p.m., police responded to calls regarding shots fired at 273 East 176th Street. An NYPD spokesperson said, “Upon arrival, officers observed a 21-year-old male with gun shot wounds to the torso. The victim was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.” Police
