Woodlawn Station: Man, 42, Robbed aboard Northbound Number 4 Subway

The NYPD is seeking the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who is sought in connection to a robbery that took place aboard the number 4 northbound subway approaching Woodlawn station in The Bronx.   Police said that on Sunday, Oct. 16, at around 4.50 a.m., a 42-year-old man was riding the northbound 4 train when a person unknown to him approached.   The suspect allegedly stole the man’s wallet before exiting the train at the Woodlawn – Jerome Avenue train station. The wallet contained around $100, a debit card, ID, and a ring (jewelry).

Mt. Hope: Two Sought in Home Invasion Armed Robbery & Assault

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the person seen in the attached photos who is one of two people sought for questioning in connection with a home invasion robbery that occurred in Mt. Hope.   It was reported to police at the 46th Precinct that on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at approximately 7.40 p.m., two unidentified people gained entry to an apartment located at 1695 Grand Concourse.   Once inside, the two displayed guns and demanded property from two apartment occupants, one a 35-year-old man and another, a 45-year-old man. Van Cortlandt Park: Motor Vehicle Crash Causes Car to Overturn, Occupants Free Themselves

A motor vehicle accident was reported on the southbound lanes of the Major Deegan Expressway, approaching Van Cortlandt Park South, on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at around 1:38 p.m. All lanes were cleared as of 2:23 p.m. according to New York State officials.   Norwood News contacted the FDNY to obtain further details on any reported injuries. FDNY: Area Secured following Woodlawn Heights Fire on Transformer Pole

An apparent, outdoor electrical fire broke out on Monday evening, Oct. 24, in the Woodlawn Heights section of The Bronx.   The FDNY said the incident has since been closed out and the cause is being investigated.
