MTA To Perform Structural Repairs On D Line Between Bedford Park Blvd and Kingsbridge Rd

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) announced on Monday, March 13, that structural repairs will begin on the middle track of the line this spring between Bedford Park Boulevard and Kingsbridge Road, resulting in weekday express train service to be suspended from 4.45 a.m. on Monday, March 27, through 5 a.m. Friday, April 28.   This work will also include the restoration of electrical equipment, installing and testing new antenna cables, and lead abatement, MTA officials said, adding that customers are advised to allow for additional time for their commutes.   A.M.
