A 42-year-old woman has been found deceased inside a residential building in Belmont. Police said on Friday, June 10, at around 5 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding the aided woman who was inside an apartment at on East 187th Street. “Upon arrival, officers observed a 42-year-old female, unconscious and unresponsive inside of a bathroom, that suffered a large amount of blood loss,” police officials said. “EMS responded and pronounced the female deceased on scene. It was reported to the police that Jordan Washington, of 4275 Park Avenue, Apt 713 Bronx, NY 10457, was last seen on Thursday, March 10, at 2 p.m., inside his home. He is described as male, approximately 6 feet tall, weighs 300 pounds, is Black, has brown eyes, black hair, and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and gray sweatpants. The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the person seen in the attached surveillance video and photo who is sought for questioning regarding a fatal shooting that occurred in the vicinity of Tremont, located in the 48th precinct, in December 2021. It was reported to police that on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021, at approximately 9.08 p.m., the victim, a 31-year-old man, was in front of 2001 Arthur Avenue, when he was approached by an unidentified man and shot in the right side of the chest. The NYPD has confirmed a 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a Norwood man on Saturday.
