Alternate Side Parking Regulation resumed on May 18 and will continue to May 20. It will take effect again from May 22 to May 23 while a citywide clean sweep is in effect, after which suspensions will continue for another two weeks through Sunday, June 7, 2020. On Friday, May 15, 2020 at approximately 23:13 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a male who was shot at 380 East 201st Street, within the confines of the 52nd precinct. Upon arrival, officers found an unidentified adult male in his 20s, with gunshot wounds to the head and torso. EMS arrived at the location and transported the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital, in critical condition. There are no arrests as of Monday, 18 May, and the investigation is ongoing. On Saturday, May 16, 2020 at approximately 7:24 p.m., police responded to a 911 call about shots that were fired in the vicinity of Creston Avenue and East 184th Street within the confines of the 46th precinct. Upon arrival, police conducted a ballistics search with negative results. There are no reported injuries as a result of this incident.
