Parkchester: 29-Year-Old Male Stabbed

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual wanted for questioning in connection with an assault within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in Parkchester.

 

On Saturday, Jun. 6, 2020 at approximately 11:55 a.m., a 29-year old male victim got into a verbal dispute with an unknown male individual in front of 1840 East Tremont Avenue, and the situation escalated into a physical confrontation.

 

The male individual then brandished a knife and stabbed the victim several times about the torso, arms and legs, causing lacerations. The attacker then fled eastbound on East Tremont Avenue on a bicycle. EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital in a stable condition.

 

 

The individual wanted for questioning in connection with this incident is described as a male, dark complexion, 20-30 years in age. A surveillance photo from the vicinity of the incident location, before the incident occurred, is attached.
