A 71-year-old woman sustained injuries during an attempted robbery on the outskirts of Laconia in The Bronx. The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the individual seen in the attached photo and video who is wanted for questioning regarding the incident which took place in the 47th precinct. New York City has opened its Section 8 housing waiting list for the first time since 2006. The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program is a federal program designed to provide rental assistance to low-income families, the elderly, and the disabled to help them find decent, safe, and sanitary housing. State Sen. There will be no trash, recycling collection or street cleaning Monday, May 31, in observance of Memorial Day, as announced by New York City Department of Sanitation (DSNY) on Wednesday, May 19. Residents who normally receive Monday trash collection may place their material at the curb between 4 p.m. and midnight Monday evening. This is a developing story. FDNY has confirmed that an elevator collapsed at 8.17 a.m. on Wednesday, May 19, at 20 Bruckner Blvd in Port Morris in the South Bronx. One person was found dead on arrival at the scene and another is critical. The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the individual seen in the attached photo who is sought in connection to an assault that occurred in the 46th precinct, in Fordham Heights. On Sunday, May 16, at approximately 10.08 a.m., the suspect approached a 48-year-old man in the vicinity of East 184th Street and the Grand Concourse, and displayed a knife.
