Morris Heights: Man Sought for Assault on 58-Year-Old Man after Dispute

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photos who they say is wanted in connection with an assault that occurred in the Morris Heights section of The Bronx.

 

Police said that on Thursday, April 16, at around 8.30 p.m., a 58-year-old man was in the vicinity of 1765 University Avenue when an unidentified person approached him and a verbal dispute ensued.

 

“When the victim was walking away, the individual displayed a knife and stabbed the victim twice in the back,” an NYPD spokesperson said. “The individual then fled the location in an unknown direction. EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.”
