The NYPD said the department has no record of any shooting in Bedford Park on Saturday night, Sept. 28, following an unconfirmed report of around 10 shots fired by two people, one allegedly armed with a machine gun.

The Office of the City’s Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) announced on Friday, Sept. 26, the results of a neuropathological examination of Shane Tamura, the gunman who died by suicide after carrying out the fatal mass shooting of four people, including 47th Precinct NYPD Det. First Grade Didarul Islam, a husband and father, at 345 Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan on July 28.
