Williamsbridge: Four Sought following Multiple Shooting Incident

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached video who are sought for questioning in connection to a shooting that occurred in Williamsbridge. It was reported to police that on Feb. 27, at around 6.23 a.m., at the corner of East 213th Street and Barnes Avenue, three unidentified individuals fired 15 rounds into a victim’s parked vehicle.   “The individuals fled northbound on Barnes Avenue in a white Mercury Marquis, 4-door sedan that another unknown individual was driving,” a police spokesperson said. “The victim’s vehicle was vacant at the time of this incident

CM Amanda Farías Allocates $25,000 to Jacobi Medical Center’s Stand Up to Violence Program

District 18 City Council Member Amanda Farías presented a check of $25,000 to support Jacobi’s Stand Up to Violence (SUV) program in early February. The SUV program is the first hospital-run, cure violence-based program in the nation.
