The NYPD is asking for the public’s help locating a 16-year-old girl who was reported missing from Belmont. Police said that Taniah Gale, of 588 East 181st Street, Bronx, NY, was last seen Saturday, Jan. 14, at around 8 p.m., leaving her home. She is described as female, is around 5 feet tall, weighs 140 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a black coat, beige and white pajama pants, and red, black and white sneakers. Belmont: Charges Against 16-Year-Old Announced in Police-Involved Non-Fatal Shooting

Charges have been announced following the arrest of an unnamed 16-year-old male following a police-involved shooting in Belmont, police said.   A police officer from the 48th Precinct public safety team is recovering at St. Barnabas Hospital in Belmont following a multiple shooting incident that occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, Jan. 17 in Belmont, police said. A 14-year-old boy reported missing from Bedford Park has been located, police said.   Prior to being located, it had been reported to police that Cain Pemel, 14, of Grand Concourse had last been seen Friday, Jan. 13, at around 1.45 p.m., leaving his home.
