Health Officials Announce Wastewater Monitoring as Polio Detected in New York City

City and State health officials updated New Yorkers on the detection of polio in the City’s sewage system on Friday, Aug. 12, suggesting a likely local circulation of the virus in New York City. Polio can lead to permanent paralysis of the arms and legs and even death in some cases.   State Health Commissioner Dr. Mary T. NYC CFB: Voter Guide Available for Primary Elections Scheduled for Aug. 23

The NYC Campaign Finance Board (CFB) has released the official Voter Guide for the August 2022 primary elections that are scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 23. The guide is available online at NYCVotes.org and allows voters to look up the candidates on their ballot. Missing Girl, 17, Likely Victim of Sex Trafficking, Located in Wakefield Motel
