City Seeks Public Feedback During May 18 Hearing on Old Fordham Library

Residents of Fordham Manor will have a chance to voice their views on the eventual use of a building which formerly housed the Fordham branch of the New York Public Library (NYPL), located at 2556 Bainbridge Avenue. The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the individual seen in the attached photo who is sought in connection to an assault that occurred in the 46th precinct, in Fordham Heights. On Sunday, May 16, at approximately 10.08 a.m., the suspect approached a 48-year-old man in the vicinity of East 184th Street and the Grand Concourse, and displayed a knife. The suspect stabbed the victim in his leg. EMS responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
