Belmont: 42-Year-Old Woman Dies in Residential Building following Large Amount of Blood Loss

A 42-year-old woman has been found deceased inside a residential building in Belmont.   Police said on Friday, June 10, at around 5 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding the aided woman who was inside an apartment at on East 187th Street.   “Upon arrival, officers observed a 42-year-old female, unconscious and unresponsive inside of a bathroom, that suffered a large amount of blood loss,” police officials said. “EMS responded and pronounced the female deceased on scene. Biaggi-Backed Bill Establishing Rape Kit Tracking System Passes Assembly & Senate

Bronx Man Charged with Sex Trafficking, Rape & Attempted Strangulation Released on Bail

A Bronx male sex offender, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison in May 2022, had been released on bail in January 2021 despite having been hit, as a co-defendant, just four months earlier with 22 charges, including sex trafficking of a child and promoting prostitution and separately, for rape, a criminal sex act, unlawful imprisonment, and attempted strangulation. Volunteers Continue “Flagging” Tradition at Woodlawn Cemetery
