Annual Bronx Anti-Bullying Resource Fair Returns
On a sunny July 17th, the Bronx office of New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center (NYPCC) hosted its 6th annual Anti-Bullying Resource Fair on 137th Street and Alexander Avenue in Mott Haven. NYPCC is a non-profit, community-oriented, mental health organization operating across New York State, offering several services to the community, mostly centered on therapy and counseling for those of all ages. This year marks its 50th annivesary.
Child Who Suffered Cardiac Arrest Back at Church
A week after paramedics transferred a 2-year-old girl who the FDNY said had suffered a cardiac arrest to hospital during a church service in Kingsbridge Heights, the pastor of Iglesia Cristiana Tabernaculo de Gracia [The Christian Church of the Tabernacle of Grace] told Norwood News that the child was doing fine and was back at church.

Tenants and Elected Officials Gather To Protest Housing Conditions at Tracey Towers
Around 50 frustrated tenants joined local elected officials for a rally outside Bedford Park’s Tracey Towers on Saturday, June 15, to protest what they said are poor living conditions in the 871-unit housing complex. Residents say they have been grappling with a slew of problems like frequent water leaks, a significant rat infestation, and perpetually malfunctioning elevators for a number of years.
