The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the individual seen in the attached photos and video who is wanted for questioning in relation to a commercial burglary that occurred in the 47th precinct. On Sunday, Sept. 19, at approximately 4.29 p.m., inside 3391 Boston Road (Clean & Green Laundromat), in Williamsbridge, the unidentified man entered the office of the location and removed a bag containing over $10,000 in cash before fleeing in an unknown direction. Police are looking for the suspect who slashed a man on the arm before stealing personal property from two victims inside a Bainbridge Avenue building in Norwood. Police say the incident was reported at 7:41 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, inside 3591 Bainbridge Avenue. Officers from the 52nd precinct reported that a 20-year-old male victim got into a verbal dispute with the suspect, who displayed a knife and caused a small laceration to the victim’s arm. The NYPD confirm that on Friday, Oct. 1, at 00.01 a.m., an off-duty New York City employee was arrested and charged in the 50th precinct. Jermack Romero, 39, an NYPD officer with the 44th precinct in the Bronx, was charged with two offenses: assault and criminal mischief. A Williamsbridge man who was convicted of manslaughter and assault following a horrific crash which occurred on the Grand Concourse in 2018, has been sentenced to four to ten-years in prison.
