A 27-year-old man has died following an early morning shooting in Parkchester. Police said that on Saturday, Feb. 11, at around 5.01 a.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot in front of 1556 White Plains Road, located in the 43rd Precinct. A police spokesperson said, “Upon arrival, officers observed a 27-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the head.” The spokesperson added, “EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health & Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased.” Police said there were no immediate arrests, the investigation remains ongoing,

The NYPD is asking the public’s help identifying the person or vehicle seen in the attached photos regarding a reckless endangerment incident (a shooting) that occurred in Bedford Park. Parents making their routine trip to pick up their kids from school in Kingsbridge Heights were horrified recently to learn that a 16-year-old male youth had been stabbed. Police said the teen remains in critical condition as police search for the suspect who reportedly plunged a knife into the victim.
