Parkchester: 27-Year-Old Man Dies following Early Morning Shooting
A 27-year-old man has died following an early morning shooting in Parkchester. Police said that on Saturday, Feb. 11, at around 5.01 a.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot in front of 1556 White Plains Road, located in the 43rd Precinct. A police spokesperson said, “Upon arrival, officers observed a 27-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the head.” The spokesperson added, “EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health & Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased.” Police said there were no immediate arrests, the investigation remains ongoing,
