A 58-year-old scooter driver is in critical condition in hospital and a second 60-year-old male scooter driver was also injured after a collision in the South Bronx involving two scooters and an MTA bus on the morning of Juneteenth, June 19. The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the person seen in the attached photos who they say is sought in connection to a robbery that occurred in Kingsbridge Heights. Police said that on Monday, June 5, at approximately 3.18 p.m., the victim, an 18-year-old woman, was walking in the vicinity of East Kingsbridge Road and Grand Concourse when she was approached by a person unknown to her. A 60-year-old man has survived a shooting with minor injuries on Saturday, June 17, in the Laconia section of the East Bronx. A police spokesperson said the shooting occurred at around 8.30 p.m. at 1255 Adee Avenue. He said the victim incurred graze wounds to the hand. “He refused medical attention at the scene by EMS,” the spokesperson said. The investigation is ongoing. An 18-year-old male youth has been arrested following the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old man on Saturday, June 17, in the Laconia section of the East Bronx, police said. A police spokesperson said at around 4.40 p.m., officers responded to reports of a male shot at 1219 Adee Avenue. “Upon arrival, officers observed a 22-year-old male shot in the chest. EMS responded and removed the male to NYC Health & Hospitals/ Jacobi where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing. The deceased has been identified as Miguel Molina of Adee Avenue in Laconia.
