Man Gets 21 Years for Bronx Gunpoint Cocaine Robbery & Gun Smuggling into Federal Prison

Damian Williams, U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, announced on Thursday, Sept. 22, that Deejay White was sentenced to 21 years in prison for his participation in a May 29, 2019, gunpoint robbery in The Bronx. The incident involved the targeting of more than 150 kilograms of cocaine; his participation in a conspiracy to smuggle contraband, including narcotics and a firearm, into a federal detention facility; and his possession of the firearm while incarcerated. Manhattan Man Charged with Attacking NYC Transit Worker at Pelham Bay Park Subway Station

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Bedford Park: Stolen Car Crashes into Two Parked Vehicles on Jerome Avenue

Police are looking for the driver of a stolen 2005 BMW which plowed into two parked cars on Jerome Avenue in the Bedford Park section of The Bronx. Witnesses told Norwood News the driver of the stolen car was observed exiting it and walking away from the vehicle, before later returning, calmly removing his belongings from its interior and from the trunk, and then disappearing once again before police arrived at the scene.   Upon further investigation, NYPD officials said they learned the same vehicle had been reported stolen in Pennsylvania. Search for 13-Year-Old Boy from Wakefield Reported Missing

The NYPD said on Thursday,  is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 13-year-old boy from Wakefield who is reported as missing.   Police said Iqbal Nazir of Wakefield in The Bronx was seen leaving Chelsea Vocational High School, located at 131 Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan on Monday, Sept. 19, at around 11.44 a.m.   “He is described as a male, Hispanic, light complexion, 5’6”, approximately 180lbs, heavy build, bald head and no eyebrows,” a police spokesperson said. “He was last seen wearing a black polo shirt, blue jeans, [a] black baseball hat, black shoes and black glasses.”

Mt. Hope: Three Sought after 30-Year-Old Man Robbed at Gunpoint

  The NYPD is asking for the public’s help locating the three people seen in the attached photos and video who are sought for questioning in connection to an armed robbery that occurred in Mt.
