Charlotte Gardens: Man Shot, Dies

On Thursday, March 4, 2021 at approximately 00.41 a.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot at East 173rd Street and Boston Road in the vicinity of Charlotte Gardens, in the 42nd precinct.   Upon arrival, officers observed a 27-year-old man, unconscious and unresponsive, with several gunshot wounds to his torso, in front of 1664 Boston Road.   On the pandemic front, the good news is that COVID-19 infection, hospitalization, and death rates are all decreasing statewide.
