Police confirm a male teen was shot in Fordham Manor on Thursday and is being treated at Jacobi hospital. Police said officers responded to a call regarding the incident in which a 15-year-old boy was shot once in the left leg at approximately 4.15 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10, at 2543 Webster Avenue, which is the location of Burlington store. They said the victim was brought to Jacobi Medical Center where he was in stable condition. Police said the shooter fled the scene in an unidentified vehicle. The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.

A man was arrested in Williamsbridge Oval park in Norwood on Thursday afternoon, Feb. 10, following an assault. The NYPD confirmed that officers responded to an incident at around 2.55 p.m. on Thursday and a 61-year-old man was later arrested and charged with assault and harassment. The Kingsbridge Heights Community Center (KHCC) has teamed up with TechFIN, a firm that renovates old computers, and has donated the first of 50 desktop computers to residents in the community, rather than sending them to a landfill.
