Building applications have been filed to expand a 2-story structure into a 5-story residential building at 3537 Bainbridge Avenue in the Norwood section o the Bronx, as reported by YIMBY. Located between East Gun Hill Road and East 212th Street, the lot is near the Woodlawn subway station, serviced by the 4 train. Isaac Kritzler is listed as the owner behind the applications. The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 18,992 square feet designated for residential space, according to YIMBY. The building will have 44 residential units, most likely condos, based on the average unit scope of 432 square

The NYPD confirmed an 89-year-old woman who had been reported missing in the Williamsbridge section of The Bronx has been found. Prior to being located, Violet Clarke, 89, of East 216th Street, had last been seen at her home on Sunday, May 22. She was described as female, 5 feet, 2 inches tall, Black and weighing 130 pounds. Prior to being found, she had last been seen wearing a gray top, dark-colored pants and black sneakers. The New York City office of the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Bronx county and nearby regions on Sunday, May 22, until 8.45 p.m. At 7.39 p.m., weather officials said severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Paterson to near Caldwell and East Hanover, moving northeast at 25 mph.
