The NYPD said two 21-year-old men have been shot in Bedford Park.   Officers responded to a report that the two men had been shot at East 201st Street and Decatur Avenue by an unidentified third man at around 3.01 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 12. UPDATE Charges Dropped against Bronx Cop Arrested in Alleged Groping Incident

A Bronx NYPD officer who was arrested following groping allegations has had the related charges dropped due to lack of evidence, according to a media report.   An NYPD spokesperson said that on Sunday, Sept.11, at 11 p.m., the off-duty NYPD officer was arrested and charged in the 44th Precinct, which covers the Grand Concourse, Bronx Terminal Market, and Yankee Stadium.   Police said Julio Alcantara-Santiago, 38, assigned to Transit District 11, which covers 161st Street and Yankee Stadium subway station, and who is a police officer since 2013, was arrested on charges of forcible touching and sex abuse.
