UPDATE Fordham Manor: 21-Year-Old Woman Reported Missing for a Second Time in a Week

Fordham Manor: 41-Year-Old Woman Sexually Assaulted on Street

UPDATE Fordham Manor: Man Found Unconscious on Street Has Been Identified

Building applications have been filed with NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) for a new, five-story residential building at 2556 Briggs Avenue in the Fordham Manor section of The Bronx, as reported by YIMBY.   Located between East Kingsbridge Road and East 194th Street, the lot is near the Kingsbridge Road subway station, serviced by the B and D trains. UPDATE Unconfirmed Reports of a Power Outage in Williamsbridge, Con Edison Notified

Norwood News has received as yet unconfirmed reports of a power outage affecting residents in the Williamsbridge section of The Bronx in ZIP code 10467. (This is also the ZIP code for Norwood News, and so far, our lights are on.) A user of the Citizens’ App reported on Thursday, Nov 10, at around 6.15 p.m. that, “ConEd reported a power outage affecting customers in ZIP code 10467.”   We contacted Con Edison for a status update and await their response. According to their outage map, there are some outages in New York City and in Mount Vernon it seems.
