The New York City Police Department confirmed on Tuesday, May 4, that Keira Robles, 12, of Apt #4E, 271 East 197th St. in the Bedford Park section of The Bronx, who was reported missing in the 52nd precinct on Saturday, May 1, has returned home. It was reported to the police that Keira was last seen Friday, April 30, 2021 at 7.40 a.m. inside her home. Assemblywoman Latoya Joyner (D-Bronx, 77th A.D.) is hosting a COVID-19 vaccine and food giveaway in the Highbridge section of the Bronx on Saturday, May 1. Norwood News received unofficial reports of an overturned vehicle at Bedford Park Boulevard and Villa Avenue in the Bedford Park neighborhood of the Bronx. According to the Citizen’s App, the vehicle overturned around 11.20 a.m. on Friday, April 30. One neighbor who lives in the area was coming home at around 12.46 at which point, she said the street had been cleared. Morales, 47, an off duty NYPD Sergeant, was arrested and charged in the 50th precinct with charges of driving while intoxicated, and refusal to take a breath test. Newly elected, District 15 councilman, Oswald Feliz, announced on April 22 that he has been selected to join both the City Council’s education committee and the public housing committee.
