The NYPD is asking the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photos who they said is sought in connection with a groping incident that occurred in transit in the Van Nest neighborhood.     Police said that on Friday, April 21, at around 10.18 p.m., a 35-year-old female victim was exiting the elevator to the southbound 2/5 train at the Morris Park Avenue and East 180th Street subway station when the suspect, who was unknown to the victim, grabbed her buttocks. UPDATE Young Woman Reported Kidnapped in Brooklyn Located, Incident Deemed “Not a Crime”

A young woman who was reportedly kidnapped in Brooklyn on Friday, April 21, has been located, police said.   Police said that on Friday, April 21, at around 1.45 a.m. an unidentified female victim was kidnapped by an unidentified man at the intersection of Avenue W and Stillwell Avenue in the Gravesend neighborhood in the southern part of Brooklyn. They said the man placed the victim into a minivan before fleeing northbound on Stillwell Avenue. Norwood: Man Arrested for Attempted Murder in East Gun Hill Road Building Shooting

Police said a 69-year-old man has been arrested on various charges, including attempted murder, following a shooting in a residential building on East Gun Hill Road in Norwood last weekend, as reported.    An NYPD spokesperson said that on Sunday, April 16, at around 3.20 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding shots fired inside of 234 East Gun Hill Road on the 3rd floor. Pelham Parkway: Brick Tossed Through Window during Passover, Israeli Independence Day Marked

The NYPD Hate Crimes Unit is currently investigating an incident where a slab of concrete was tossed through the living room window of a Pelham Parkway home during the Jewish holiday of Passover. Three Mosque Break-Ins Reported in The Bronx During Ramadan

  The NYPD said three mosques in the Northwest Bronx were robbed or broken into in March as millions of Muslims around the world began to observe the holy month of Ramadan.
