The NYPD is asking for the public’s help locating the woman seen in the attached video and photos who they said is wanted in connection with an assault that occurred in transit in the Wakefield section of The Bronx.
Police said that on Monday, April 20, at around 00.30 a.m., a 27-year-old male victim was onboard a northbound “2” train approaching the East 225th Street subway station when he was approached by an unidentified woman and a verbal dispute ensued.
They said the suspect pepper-sprayed the victim in the face and then got off the train at the 225th Street subway station and fled the location on foot to parts unknown. They said EMS responded and transported the victim to Montefiore Einstein Hospital in stable condition.
Police said the suspect is described as female, has a medium complexion, and was last seen wearing a black jacket, a black sweatshirt, multi-colored pants, black boots, and a black hat.
