NY Lottery Prize Winning Tickets Sold in The Bronx

New York Lottery officials announced in the recent weeks that there have been multiple top-prize winning tickets for recent TAKE 5 and Powerball drawings, sold in The Bronx.

 

They said an April 20 Take 5 evening drawing winning ticket was sold at Alanis Deli Grocery Corp, located at 2563-65 Grand Concourse in the Fordham Manor section, which sold one prize-winning ticket worth $15,250.

 

Officials said an April 14 Take 5 evening drawing winning ticket was AMG Retail I LLC AMG #190 located at 2350 Jerome Avenue in the Fordham Heights section, which sold one prize-winning ticket worth $15,478.

 

They said a third-prize-winning ticket was sold for the April 11 Powerball drawing at Bartow Total Liquors, located at 2057 Bartow Avenue in Co-Op City, which sold one prize-winning ticket worth $50,000.

 

Officials said a top-prize winning ticket was sold for the April 4 Take 5 midday drawing at Miles 4101 Wines & Liquors LLC, located at 4101 East Tremont Avenue in Throggs Neck, which sold one prize-winning ticket worth $10,005.

 

According to the lottery officials, Take 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39, and the drawing is televised twice daily at 2.30 p.m. and 10.30 p.m. A lottery draw game prize of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.

 

Meanwhile, they said the winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26, and the Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10.59 p.m.

 

Officials say The New York Lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable lottery, contributing $3.6 billion in fiscal year 2024-2025 to benefit public schools in New York State.
