University Heights/Fordham Manor: Forcible Touching Incident aboard MTA Bus BX3

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached video and photo who is sought for questioning in connection to a forcible touching incident that occurred in the 46th precinct.

 

It was reported to police that on Thursday, Oct. 7, at approximately 2.38 p.m., the person and a 20-year-old female victim both boarded a Bx3 MTA bus at Fordham Road and University Avenue on the border of University Heights and Fordham Manor.

 

Once on the bus, the assailant grabbed the victim’s buttocks and pressed his erect penis onto her. The individual was last seen exiting the bus at University Avenue and West Burnside Avenue, also in University Heights. There were no physical injuries reported as a result of this incident.

The assailant is described as a male of about 18 to 25 years of age, with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball hat, a black long-sleeve shirt, black pants, blue Crocs and a light colored backpack.

 

According to New York Penal Code §130.52, the legal definition of forcible touching is touching the intimate or sexual parts of another person to receive sexual satisfaction or for no legitimate reason at all. Forcible touching is a misdemeanor, Class A, and not a felony like most other sexual offenses.
