Bedford Park: Bronx Victory Memorial Marks 100 Years

Bronx Community Board 7 (CB7) and community partners gathered on Sunday, May 18, in advance of Memorial Day, May 26, for an early centennial celebration of the Bronx Victory Memorial, located on Mosholu Parkway in Bedford Park. The memorial was first unveiled 100 years ago on Nov. 11, 1925.

Bronx CB7 Supports Independent Cinema & Halt to Library Cuts 

Bronx Community Board 7 (CB7) held its latest monthly general board meeting on Tuesday, May 28, at Monroe College in Fordham Manor, approving two motions to send letters of support to the Bronx Independent Cinema Center (BICC) and the New York Public Library.

Lime Says “Break Up With Cars” but Not Everyone in Bronx Community District 7 Agrees

Lime e-scooter company is one of the many organizations hosting events this week to celebrate Earth Day and New York City’s Car Free Day. Bronx Buccaneers Herald Sport as Path to Academic Advancement

New Bronx CB7 Education Chair Hosts Jam-Packed Meeting

Nearly two out of three children affected by systemic poverty cannot read at grade level, according to Literacy Incorporated (LINC), a New York City nonprofit focused on early childhood literacy.
