Bedford Park: Stolen Car Crashes into Two Parked Vehicles on Jerome Avenue

Police are looking for the driver of a stolen 2005 BMW which plowed into two parked cars on Jerome Avenue in the Bedford Park section of The Bronx. Witnesses told Norwood News the driver of the stolen car was observed exiting it and walking away from the vehicle, before later returning, calmly removing his belongings from its interior and from the trunk, and then disappearing once again before police arrived at the scene.   Upon further investigation, NYPD officials said they learned the same vehicle had been reported stolen in Pennsylvania. Eastchester: Driver Dies After Overshooting Ramp and Crashing into Home

Norwood: Man Dies following Car Accident

The NYPD has confirmed that a 56-year-old man has died following a car accident in Norwood.   On Sunday, Jan. 2, at approximately 1.22 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a pedestrian struck by an FDNY ambulance at the intersection of Dekalb Avenue and E. Van Cortlandt Park: Man Arrested After Crashing Into Parked Cars and Pedestrians

A 43-year-old male was taken into custody after striking parked cars and pedestrians in Van Cortlandt Park at Mosholu Pkwy and Henry Hudson Pkwy on Jun. 17, 2020 at around 1:53 p.m. Charges are yet to be confirmed. Two Men Dead in early morning Bronx River Parkway Crash

Two people have died as a result of an early morning crash on the Northbound Bronx River Parkway at East Gun Hill Road in Norwood.   The incident was reported at 1:38 a.m. on Thursday, Jun. 11, when police were informed that a car was on fire at the location. Crime File: Charges for Fatal Car Wreck in Norwood

Suspect Arrested in Jerome Ave. Crash  A Morrisania man faces a litany of charges, including driving while intoxicated vehicular assault and reckless endangerment, related to the death of a Brooklyn woman who was near a bus stop when she was hit. Police say Francisco Rosario drove his Nissan minivan southbound on Jerome Avenue on Aug. 11 at around 10 p.m., mounted a sidewalk at the corner of Bainbridge Avenue and struck two people at the bus stop by the Woodlawn train station. One of them, Natasha Mar, was struck. She was later transported to St. Barnabas Hospital where she died.

Report: After Crash, Bronx Woman Stabbed to Death By Ex-Flame

Police responding to a call of an overturned vehicle at just before 4 a.m. today on the northbound New England Thruway at the Pelham Parkway exit, discovered the body of 20-year old Parkchester resident Katherine German, who had been stabbed several times. German’s 31-year old ex-boyfriend, Daniel Espinal, was taken into custody at the scene. Police say Espinal, a cabbie with Kiss Car Service who had a small child with German, had run the SUV German was traveling in with another man off the thruway.
