The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video and photograph in connection with a burglary which took place within the confines of the 52nd precinct. On Friday, Oct. 9, 2020 at approximately 8 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who was stabbed at the corner of Jerome Avenue and East Gun Hill Road, within the confines of the 52nd precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 29-year-old man who had sustained a stab wound to his chest. EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. The investigation remains ongoing. Police are looking for a gunman who brazenly opened fire on a busy street in the Fordham Heights section of the Bronx, yet miraculously did not hit anyone.
