Bronx District Attorney, Darcel D. Clark, announced on Monday, Feb. 1 that a Bronx man has been charged for fatally shooting another man in Fordham Heights the day after Christmas. Clark said the defendant, Marquis Tanner, 30, of East 184th Street, was arraigned on charges of second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon before Bronx Supreme Court Justice, Michael Gross, on Jan. 29. 2021. The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual seen in the attached surveillance video and photo in connection with a reckless endangerment incident that occurred in the 47th precinct. According to NYPD Detective Annette Shelton, two complaint reports are on file at the NYPD in relation to aggravated assault incidents that occurred on Friday, Jan. 22, 2021 in the 52nd precinct.
