Fordham Manor: Man Sought for Robbery

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the man seen in the attached surveillance photo and video who is sought in connection to a burglary that occurred in the 52nd precinct. 

 

On Saturday, Feb. 27, at approximately 5.20 p.m., inside a residential building in the vicinity of Creston Avenue and East 191st Street, in Fordham Manor, a 42-year-old male building employee entered a storage area, discovered property was missing and contacted the police.

Subsequent investigation determined that on that same day at approximately 11.37 a.m., an unidentified man had entered the building through a secured front door.  Once inside, the man forcibly broke into a secured storage area, removed various power tools, and fled on foot to parts unknown. The total estimated value of the stolen property was $2,500. The photo and video of the man was taken from the incident location, during the incident.
