Price gouging is illegal. In the early days of the pandemic, some Bronxites had complained of the cost of thermometers, hand sanitizer and other hygiene products, but in recent months, with more and more reports of supply chain and delivery issues, price gouging appears to have become more widespread. The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the three individuals seen in the attached video and photo who are sought in connection with a shooting that occurred in Edenwald, located in the 47th precinct. It was reported to police that on Tuesday Oct. 4, at approximately 1.45 a.m., inside 1851 Schiefelin Place, the three individuals entered the location, and one discharged one round from a firearm into an apartment door. A building application has been filed with NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) for an eight-story, residential building located at 2187 Ryer Avenue in the Fordham Heights neighborhood of the Bronx, according to YIMBY. Inoculation of the COVID-19 vaccine for 5 through 11-year-olds continued on Monday, Nov. 8, and Tuesday, Nov. 9, in the Bronx and across New York City. During a press conference on Tuesday, Mayor Bill de Blasio said over 4,500 children got vaccinated at public schools on Nov. 8 alone. The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the two individuals seen in the attached photographs who are sought in connection with a robbery that occurred in Kingsbridge Heights, in the 52nd precinct. The family of a South Carolina man is asking for the public’s help in locating Andrew Jerome Ashe, 27, who was last seen leaving a relative’s home on Walton Avenue in Fordham Heights. According to the missing man’s aunt, Fordham Heights resident, Divene Gabriel, Ashe has been missing since the end of August 2021. It was reported to police that on Saturday, Oct. 16, at approximately 3.55 a.m., at the northeast corner of Webster Avenue and East 204th Street, a 22-year-old male victim was walking when three unknown individuals approached him. The New York Police Department is seeking the public’s help identifying the individuals seen in the attached video who are sought for questioning, following a shooting which injured three, one fatally, in Williamsbridge. On Sunday, Oct. 31, at approximately 00.50 a.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who was shot at Colden Avenue and Adee Avenue, in Williamsbridge, located in the 49th precinct. Upon arrival in front of 951 Adee Aevneue, police observed three victims with gunshot wounds. The first victim was a 22-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head. The second was
