UPDATE Protestors Rally Outside Jeffrey Dinowitz’s Home to Protest School Vaccination Bill

An estimated 50 protestors, some dressed in ultra-Orthodox Jewish attire, held a rally outside the home of Bronx, Jewish Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz (A.D. 81), in the Riverdale section of the Bronx on Sunday, Dec. 12, displaying anti-Semitic imagery and protesting the assemblyman’s sponsoring of bill A8378, according to one witness who works for the assemblyman. NYPD Lieutenant Arrested in The Bronx for Driving With Impaired Ability

An off-duty, New York City Police Department employee was arrested and charged in the 45th precinct in the early hours of Saturday morning, Dec. 11.   Edwin Jerez, a 37-year-old male NYPD lieutenant was charged with driving while his ability to drive was impaired (DWAI). National Weather Service Issues Wind Advisory from Dec. 11 until Dec. 12 at 4 A.M. for NYC

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a wind advisory on Saturday, Dec. 11, which is in effect from 3.40 p.m. on Saturday until Sunday, Dec. 12, at 4 a.m.   Southwest winds of 15 to 25 mph are expected, with gusts of up to 50 mph, then becoming westerly.   NWS officials said portions of Southeast New York, Northeast New Jersey and Southern Connecticut will be affected.
