Fordham Heights: Additional Photo Released of Suspect Sought in Armed House Burglary

The NYPD has released an additional photo of a suspect sought in connection to a house robbery that occurred in March in Fordham Heights.   As reported, police had been asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the people seen in the attached photos who department officials said are sought in connection with the incident. Ten Chabad Centers from Westchester and The Bronx Host The Jewish Family Festival in Yonkers April 2

Chabad Synagogues and Centers of Westchester County are coming together to welcome families of all backgrounds and faiths to the Jewish Family Festival, an event celebrating Jewish life in the leadup to Passover. Metro North Schedule Changes for Week April 3-7

Hudson Line train service changes will be in effect the week of April 3-7, according to Metro North officials, as crews repair track and switch damage near Beacon caused by a freight train with mechanical problems.   All inbound Poughkeepsie and Beacon trains will depart between 3 and 5 minutes earlier than the current timetable to allow for extra time to pass the trackwork area, according to Metro North officials who added that adjusted schedules and additional information will be added to mta.info and the TrainTime app shortly.   Inbound A.M. Yankees Fans Travel on Nostalgia Train Ride to Yankee Stadium for Opening Day

Hundreds of New York Yankees fans joined New York City Transit (NYCT) president, Richard Davey, on the New York Transit Museum’s 1917 IRT Lo-V Nostalgia train and the “Train of Many Colors” for the Yankees home opener on Thursday, March 30 at Yankee Stadium, as MTA and NYCT officials used the occasion to highlight new service options for fans to Yankee Stadium for all of the season’s home games.    Fans boarded the train at Grand Central for an express train unlike any other. DC 37 Ratify New Contract with City with 1/4 of City’s Workforce Receiving a Raise & One-Time Bonus

Nine Charged in $2.5M Drug Operation in The Bronx, Manhattan, Rhode Island & Pennsylvania

Nine people were charged following a long-term, wiretap investigation into the manufacturing and interstate trafficking of counterfeit oxycodone pills containing fentanyl, stemming from drug-related activity that allegedly took place in The Bronx, Manhattan, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island, the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor (SNP) in Manhattan Supreme Court announced on March 29.   The investigation resulted in the seizure of over 26,000 pills containing fentanyl; 2 kilograms of powdered fentanyl; nearly 50,000 pills, weighing about 41 pounds, containing methamphetamine; and 3 kilograms of powdered cocaine.
