Students at St. Philip Neri School in Bedford Park want first responders to know how much their service means to them. UPDATE Wakefield: Man Arrested on Murder Charge following Fatal Shooting of 32-Year-Old Man

A 31-year-old man has been arrested following the fatal shooting in mid-April of a 32-year-old man in the Wakefield section of The Bronx, police said.   As reported, an NYPD spokesperson said that on Tuesday, April 18, at around 10.53 p.m., officers from the 47th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot in front of 4531 Hill Avenue.   “Upon arrival officers observed a 32-year-old male with gunshot wounds to the head and shoulder,” an NYPD spokesperson said. “The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased.”
