The NYPD is appealing to the public for help locating a 17-year-old girl from Morris Park who was reported missing on Saturday, June 24. Police said Britney Hernandez of 957 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx, NY was last seen on Friday, June 23, at around 6 a.m. inside her home. Police said she is described as having a light complexion with brown eyes and black hair and is around 5 feet, 3 inches tall. They said she weighs around 120 pounds and wears glasses. A fire at Tracey Towers housing complex, located on the Norwood-Bedford Park border, on Saturday resulted in no injuries the FDNY said. An FDNY spokesperson said the department was alerted to reports of a fire at the 871-unit complex, located at 40 West Mosholu Parkway South, at around 5.10 p.m. on Saturday, June 24. Police have launched a murder investigation following the killing of a 62-year-old man in Fordham Heights in May.
