Police said an off-duty New York City employee was arrested on Monday, May 11, at around 6.41 p.m. in The Bronx.
They said Veronica Rogers, 68, an NYPD school crossing guard was charged with assault in the 40th Precinct, which covers the Bronx neighborhoods of Port Morris, Mott Haven, and Melrose. She is presumed innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
