The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they said is wanted in connection with a theft that took place in the Norwood section of The Bronx.
Police that on Tuesday, March 24, at around 11.55 a.m., the victim, a 59-year-old on-duty, NYPD traffic agent, was performing his official duties in front of 3254 Parkside Place when the suspect snatched his department-issued summons device. They said the suspect then fled on foot to parts unknown, and that there were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.
Police said the suspect is described as male, has a medium complexion, and was last seen wearing a blue jacket, a black hoodie, black pants and white sneakers.
As reported, a dead Pitbull was found in a trash bag on Monday, April 8, in the vicinity of 3118 Webster Avenue in Norwood, close to 3254 Parkside Place and to the site of where 35-year-old Ramon Vasquez was murdered on Saturday, March 28.
Police have not said if there is any connection between any of the referenced incidents.
