Little Yemen: One Sought after Youth, 15, Pistol-Whipped & Shot in Groin

The NYPD is asking the public’s help locating the person seen in the attached media who they say is sought in connection with an assault that occurred in the Little Yemen section of The Bronx.

 

Police said that on Saturday, Feb. 24, at around 7.03 p.m. in the rear of 755 Rhinelander Avenue, a person approached a 15-year-old boy and they got into a verbal dispute. They said as the dispute escalated, the person displayed a gun, pistol-whipped the victim, and then shot him in the groin.

 

“The individual fled eastbound on Rhinelander Avenue,” police said. “EMS responded and transported the victim to Jacobi Pediatrics in stable condition.”
