Kingsbridge Heights: Two Sought for Armed Robbery Force Driver to Cross State Lines

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the two individuals seen in the attached photographs who are sought in connection with a robbery that occurred in Kingsbridge Heights, in the 52nd precinct.

 

It was reported to police that on Thursday, Oct. 21, at approximately 11.30 p.m., a 48-year-old male victim working as a Lyft livery driver picked up the two individuals at 2678 Kingsbridge Terrace. While driving southbound on the Major Deegan Expressway, one of two displayed a firearm and pointed it at the victim.

 

He removed $1,600 cash from the driver, and both individuals demanded that the victim drive them over New York State lines to an unknown location. Both individuals later fled to parts unknown.

 

The first individual is described as a male, dark-skinned, with a tattoo above his left eye who was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white/red sneakers.

 

The second individual is described as a male, dark-skinned, who was last seen wearing a yellow jacket, a green, hooded sweatshirt and gray pants.
