Hunts Point: Police Appeal for Help Locating Missing 74-Year-old Nun

The NYPD is seeking the public’s help locating a 74-year-old woman, reported missing from Hunts Point.

 

Police said Sr. Esther V Sasot of 1230 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx, NY was last seen on Saturday, Dec. 2, at around 5.30 p.m., leaving her home in a red Honda Civic. They said she is described as 5 feet tall, weighs around 150 pounds, has a light complexion, a medium build, and black hair. They said she was last seen wearing a white dress (religious habit) and a black and white veil.

 

Anyone with information regarding this missing person is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
