Fordham Manor: Police Search for Female Assailant following Assault on MTA Bus Driver

THE NYPD IS asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in this photo who is sought in connection with an assault that occurred on an MTA bus driver in Fordham Manor on Friday, May 3, 2024.

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is sought in connection with an assault that occurred in Fordham Manor aboard an MTA bus.

Police said that on Friday, May 3, at around 4.20 p.m, a 51-year-old, on-duty, male MTA bus driver was working on the BX28 bus route in the vicinity of Valentine Avenue and East 192nd Street, when he was approached by an unidentified person who sprayed pepper spray in his face.

They said the person then fled on foot in an unknown direction, and the victim suffered pain and swelling to the face and was removed by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.
