Fordham Manor: 21-Year-Old Man Shot, Dies

A 21-year-old man has died following a shooting in Fordham Manor.

 

Police responded to a call about an assault inside 2550 Bainbridge Avenue, located in the 52nd precinct on Friday, Aug. 13, at approximately 4.09 p.m.

 

Upon arrival, officers observed a 21-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to his body, lying unconscious and unresponsive inside the location.  EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

 

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

 

The deceased has been identified as Jayquan Lewis of Fordham Manor in the Bronx.
