Fordham Heights: Group Sought for Gang Assault on 33-Year-Old Man in Broad Daylight

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached video and photos who they say are wanted in connection with an assault that occurred in broad daylight on on the border of University Heights and Fordham Heights.

Police said that on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at around 3.50 p.m., the victim, a 33-year-old man, was on the northbound 4 train approaching the Jerome Avenue and West 183rd Street subway station when a group of individuals approached him and repeatedly punched him in the head.

They said the group subsequently fled on foot westbound on 183rd Street to parts unknown.

Police said the victim refused medical attention at the scene.

On Thursday, March 7, police released additional media of the suspects.

Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
