The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) has advised of the following street and bridge closures in The Bronx from June 10 to June 29.   Bruckner Boulevard between 3 Avenue and Lincoln Avenue: This street will be closed Fridays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. through June 29 to facilitate crane operation.   Grand Concourse between Major Deegan Expressway Northbound Exit 3 and East 138th Street: This street will be closed Fridays form 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and/or from 10 p.m. to 5 p.m. through June 13, for knuckle boom.   Willow Avenue between East 133rd Street

MTA Issues Ban on Empty Tandem Trailers & Trucks on MTA Bridges on May 16 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Bridge Lift Testing at RFK Bridge Scheduled for Early Morning Hours of Friday, May 6

Bridge lift testing at the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge Manhattan span is scheduled for the early hours of Friday, May. 6, according to the MTA.   Intermittent Closures Planned for Both Directions Intermittent, full closures at the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge’s Harlem River lift span to and from Manhattan are scheduled for Friday, May 6, from midnight to 5 a.m. for bridge lifts to test mechanical functionality and allow routine preventative maintenance.   Each closure will last approximately 20 minutes.
