UPDATE University Heights: 12-Year-Old Boy Reported Missing Safely Located

The NYPD said a 12-year-old boy reported missing from University Heights has been safely located.   Prior to being located, police had said that Ruben Rodriguez, 12, had last been seen on Friday, June 23, at around 7 a.m., leaving his home. They said he was described as male, around 4 feet, 9 inches tall, weighed around 125 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair. Prior to being located, they said he had last been seen wearing black pants and a white shirt.

Bronx Couple Charged with Imprisoning & Endangering Two Girls Aged 3 and 4 Years Old

  Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. NYC Emergency Management Advises New Yorkers to Prepare for Severe Thunderstorm on June 26  

New York City Emergency Management Department (EMS) issued a travel advisory for Monday afternoon, June 26, through Tuesday, June 27. EMS officials said according to the National Weather Service, New York City may experience scattered showers with the potential for severe thunderstorms starting late afternoon through the evening.   They said the severe thunderstorms may affect the evening’s commute, with rain expected to continue into Tuesday morning.
